I went to see the movie "The Odd Life of Timothy Green," a few weeks ago. I beleive it was August 26th. Sorry I'm late posting this, but to make up for it I will post the excert I wrote on Polyvore the night after I went to see it:
"Last night was a wonderful night. It was probably the last night that I'll actually get to enjoy before I go back to school, because I still need to finish my summer packet.
I saw the movie "The Odd Life of Timothy Green" last night and it was such a good movie! I loved it so much! It was so charming; a nice fall setting, an amazing little boy, and 2 great parents. Overall, it was such a great movie, and was so inspiring. It made me want to be a better/more creative person like Timothy. He just stood there and captured the sun's rays, took them in, and just ignored the world around him to cherish those moments. He was polite and had wit. His "Grandfather" said to him "Hello Young Man" and he said "Hello Old Boy." I thought that was so cute. :) He was such a great little kid. I also love how it had a very natural/artistic feel to it. I like mordern movies that make me feel like there's something good about this generation, and this movie made me feel like "I want a family/life like that someday." I seriously think that is one of my new favorite movies. It was a perfect way to end my summer and get into the fall mood.
Also, I wore my new vintage shirt/dress. The one you see in the set is actually the one I got-from Ebay. I wore it with black leggings, brown 70s style mary-janes and put my hair in a bun for a change.
After the movie I went to Pinkberry, because it was practically right next to the movie theatre. Even at night the line was long! I had vanilla frozen yogurt with strawberries, blueberries, and shaved milk chocolate. It was so yummy! I ate it outside on the tables and chairs they had and admired the beautiful summer night. It was a bit cold out, but not too bad.
So now, there's only a week until school starts! I'm sort of excited, I did kind of miss school. I'll be happy just to get back and start writing with pencils and paper and learn new things again."
